DEMO ‘08 Kicks Off
Posted January 28th, 2008 by Jonah ParanskyThe StackSafe team has been assembling since Saturday evening here at Palm Desert, preparing for the kickoff of the DEMO ‘08 show this Monday evening.
For those who are interested, we are currently scheduled to unveil StackSafe Test Center on 4:21 PM PST (7:21 PM EST) on Tuesday January 29th. We will also be at booth 19 on the show floor.
If you are coming to the show, please stop by our booth and introduce yourself.
If you are not able to attend DEMO ‘08, we have also pulled together the StackSafe DEMO ‘08 Solution Center, which includes:
- Our collection of blog posts from the show
- Twitter updates from Joe Pendry and myself
- A recording of our DEMO presentation once it occurs
- Interesting DEMO ‘08 links and resources
Some good resources have been published on DEMO ‘08 recently and more, of course, will be coming soon. Some initial posts and resources include:
- The ReadWriteWeb Toolkit for DEMO ‘08
- GigaOm, Webware, CenterNetworks, VentureBeat, TechCrunch, SomewhatFrank, the B5 Technology Channel and Mashable are all ready and waiting
- TechCrunch’s Company Roundup
- WebWare’s DEMO coverage
- VentureBeat shows which companies are launching
- Dean Takahashi has several preview articles about DEMO participants already, including this preview of StackSafe Test Center, Goldmail’s rich messaging solution, Skyfire’s downloadable browser and MOLI’s social networking community
- Frank Gruber is on his way out to the show
- Graeme Thickins provides a comprehensive list of attendees
- Brian Solis is feeling the excitement bubble up
- Denise Dubie and Jon Brodkin of NetworkWorld have a piece highlighting enterprise-focused companies that will be presenting at the show
- Wired is plugged in to DEMO
- Check out this idea from CenterNetworks about developing a central website for DEMO bloggers and coverage
It is starting to heat up here in Palm Desert (in spite of the rain and wind chill on Sunday). We are looking forward to the beginning of the show.
