The virtual environment reduced deployment time which was especially important given the retail/customer facing environment.
Troy DuMoulin lists seven enablers and constraints for ITSM. Enablers included availability of integrated ITSM tools to support process workflow and automation and organizational capability to deploy new policies, processes and tools across silos.
Royal Pingdom reports that downtime is expensive for travel websites. Record numbers of online sales prove that downtime really is a matter of losing (or gaining) dollars.
We’ve said a lot about Twitter downtime before. Now that it’s recently received more funding, it’s time to stabilize the service, according to ZDNet.
And finally, a bit of good news from the company. StackSafe was recently named to InfoWorld’s “Top Ten Tech Startups for 2008”, and is a finalist for an American Business “Stevie” award for best marketing campaign. We’re happy to be included with so many other innovative companies, and thank everyone for their support.
