Robert Scoble Gets the Scoop on StackSafe

Posted April 23rd, 2008 by Joe Pendry

We have been busy the past couple days networking with bloggers based in San Francisco. In addition to a great conversation with GigaOm and BitCurrent’s Alistair Croll and Voice of Tech’s Shannon Whitley, we ended the day with a Qik video with Robert Scoble. We met with Alistair at GigaOm’s pier-front offices, and enjoyed a Hawaiian themed lunch at Roy’s with Shannon. Robert was kind enough to invite us to his home in Half Moon Bay to, so we really got to experience some great San Francisco Scenery!

Our conversation with Alistair was very technical, focused on the inner workings of the StackSafe Test Center. Shannon shared some of his experiences implementing virtualization with VMWare and the change management process he faces. Robert provided a more general overview of StackSafe and what it can do for companies, particularly Web 2.0 companies.
