We’re Cool! (Or at Least We’re a "Gartner Cool Vendor")
Posted April 17th, 2008 by Joe PendryCorporate News Warning - We don’t normally talk about StackSafe company or product news on this blog, but we recently received some very exciting news…
Gartner named StackSafe in their “Cool Vendors in IT Operations, 2008″ report. Each year, this report highlights vendors with the most innovative solutions for IT Operations teams.
The report discusses similar trends about IT Operations to what we regularly discuss here at It’s About Uptime. One key point mentioned is that “Release management is rapidly becoming an important requirement in infrastructure and operations (I&O). It is particularly needed to test I&O changes, such as patching and upgrades, quickly and cost-effectively.”
Further, the report affirms the need for better infrastructure testing by IT Operations teams in order to improve uptime. StackSafe was one of six companies named in the report, which you can read in its entirety by clicking here.
Of course, we are very excited about this news since it further validates the strong interest that StackSafe Test Center has generated in the market in 2008. In the past two and a half months, we have accomplished numerous significant achievements:
- A successful launch at DEMO ‘08
- Ranked #7 of the 72 DEMO companies by TheDeal.com
- Ranked #3 of 20 DEMO “Products That Matter to VARs” by ChannelWeb
- Listed as one of DEMO “Ten Favorite Products” by PC Magazine
- Positive analyst coverage of StackSafe Test Center
- Winning the ITIL Innovation of the Year Award at the February ITIL Pink Elephant Conference
OK…back to our focus on downtime tomorrow.
